I travelled to China for vacation and found these beautiful bookmarks. I don’t remember the name of the place, but it was a kind of unknown vacation spot because I had friends who lived there.

The place where the small shop was located was what is essentially a street “marketplace” (I put quotes around marketplace because there were also small cafés). Most things were outdoors with tents, just with a few shops, like where I found the bookmarks. They were so beautiful, yet such a rare find because the flowers encased in them were real.

Obviously I had to buy one. In fact, I’m using the one I bought for my book right now. This was bought about three years ago, so the fact that the bookmark is still perfectly intact shows that it’s quite durable too.
